Forensic engineering is the process of investigating when something has gone wrong, concluding the most probably cause and of recommending appropriate remedial works.

Forensic engineering is usually practiced by senior engineers with significant experienced in a specific field. Therefore there are forensic electronic, chemical, mechanical engineers etc.

At Irwin Structures our experience is structural and civil engineering design from which we have evolved as forensic building engineers, a knowledge of building design and construction is essential for our investigation work.
